JavaScript ____ make sense and that’s ____
@raphaelmorgan I’m mixed on JavaScript because the browser keeps existing parts of the language frozen in amber. I think if JS was allowed to clean up old stuff it would be very close to the ideal dynamic language, but the decades of accumulated cludge make it very weird in some cases.
@cringeizgood I was torn b/w "does/good" and "doesn't/bad" bc most of it makes more sense to me than any other language and I love it and it's my fav
but there are also parts that don't make sense that drive me up the fucking wall (like how 0 and "" are falsy but [] and {} aren't)
