Hi! I'm Marcin 👋 I use he/him or they/them pronouns.
I live in Poland and about to move to Berlin. I'm a #leftwing #secular humanist.
I do #technicalwriting for software, and my background is in #EFL teaching.
I love video #gaming with great stories, juice and #queer representation.
I decide if my day was successful by the number of strangers' #dogs I managed to pet.
Last year I joined a community orchestra as a percussionist, and it's been a lot of fun!

Outer Wilds is easily in my top 3 games ever played. I loved the sense of exploration and excitement at piecing together how its world works. Play it!

How do you talk about Outer Wilds without actually talking about Outer Wilds?
Well here is my attempt:

This is a very nicely visualized #git tutorial 😙👌 https://learngitbranching.js.org/
The Haunted Island, a Frog Detective Game
Quirky, but not weird enough and very short (~30 min).
I was expecting one of those "looks like a children's game but is actually for adults" type, but was disappointed.
I don't think I'll be trying out the sequels.
Btw "Off-Peak" is free to play, check it out

THE LONGING
in which you play as a little Shade waiting 400 days in real time to wake the king of the underground. Part tamagotchi, part Animal Crossing. Has a lot of character.
Here's a 4-hour-long trailer

TUNIC
It's super cute and plays like a dream. Zelda meets Dark Souls plus this game has the best learning curve ever - you have access to most mechanics from the start, but you learn about them from game manual pages you collect as you play.

"Off-Peak", "The Norwood Suite", and "Tales of the Off-Peak City, Vol. 1" by Cosmo D
This universe is a masterpiece of surrealism and anticapitalism. Funny writing, "bad" graphics, and great music. I'll keep an eye on this guy's future projects.

Paradise Killer
Trippy vaporwave anime aesthetics, funmovement, and a good murder mystery to investigate, recommended
Slay the Spire
It was fun to play on the train and in breaks. I liked finding synergies between items and it felt great when I got good cards.
Prey (2017)
I liked it! I never got into Dishonored, but this gave me first-Bioshock-but-in-space vibes. I liked the story, level design, and being able to solve problems in many ways.
I like what @Netflix_Sandman@twitter.com is promising 🥰

Sad to say that I was part of these layoffs. It's especially rough timing for me with a residence appointment in 2 months.
I'll follow up with more, but any leads on frontend roles with accelerated hiring timelines appreciated. https://twitter.com/GergelyOrosz/status/1547310702649655298
